We are aware that in Year Two, some staff members pause a lesson by reading a story to their class or the children read independently. We would like to give this a go and see how effective it may be in both the Infants and Juniors for encouraging the enjoyment of books.
Looking at other methods of peer assessment, other than 2 stars and a wish. Children find it very difficult to get away from commenting on spelling etc.
